Soil is home for living animals. Burrowing animals use the soil as their habbitat. Infact all animal use the soil in some way, standing, digging, eating, ect.

Soil's texture is made up of broken down rocks. SAND, SILT, AND CLAY. In the diagram below it shows the proportional size of the clay "the pea", silt "the ping pong ball", sand "the basket ball".

What's in soil?
Soil is made of rocks, pores, and organic matter. Pores are basically a mix of rock particles and organic matter. Then there is just plain, rock particles, and organic matter

soil testing
Soil testing is for finding out how sustainable your garden is for growing plants. Basically, testing the ph, Soil Nutrients, texture, and organic matter.

The measure of how acid or basic your soil is. Acids, are acid things like lemon juice. Base things are bacicly every thing else.
